释义 | 規劃控制 Statutory instruments and policies of the government determining the manner in which development occurs in a district or region. These controls and regulations are in place in order to prevent the disruptive development of any areas that have not been set aside for such purposes. In order for development to take place in certain areas, planning permission is required by the Town Planning Board: Town Planning Ordinance (Cap 131) s 20. The Director of Planning may take steps to ensure compliance with planning controls: s 23(1). Some planning controls are regulated by the Building Authority under the Buildings Ordinance in approving plans for construction, giving certificates of compliance with building covenants contained in the Government lease, and by action in respect of ‘illegal structures’ which have been constructed or construction removed illegally: Buildings Ordinance (Cap 123) ss14, 14A, 40.
