| 释义 | 業權證明契據 Documents that evidence ownership rights over specific property. Any document which affected a title falls within such definition: for example Tang Wing Lam, David v Chung Chi Keung, Frederick [1999] 3 HKC 553 (layout plan and power of attorney). The title deeds of land are of use only to the owner of land in order to enable him to maintain his title, and it is the general rule that whoever is entitled to the land has also a right to all the title deeds affecting it: Harrington v Price (1832) 3 B & Ad 170.
