释义	情報提供者 A person who makes known by whatever means that he or she is prepared to either bet on any event with an uncertain outcome, or advise or inform of a probable result in an event with an uncertain outcome. It is prohibited to broadcast, for the purposes of dissemination or distribution in Hong Kong to the public or a section of the public, any forecast, hint, odds or tip relating to guessing or foretelling the result of, or contingency regarding any horse, pony or dog race at any time within 12 hours before the conduct of that race: Gambling Ordinance (Cap 148) s 16E(1). Also known as ‘tipper’. 情報提供者會藉任何方法使大家知道，他／她準備就任何不確定結果的項目下汪、或就某不確定結果的項目作出很可能成為事實的結果的建議或通報。任何人不得為了在香港向公眾人士或某部分公眾人士散布或分發的目的，在任何馬匹、小馬或狗隻競賽舉行前12小時內，作出任何關於猜測或預計該競賽的結果或可能就該競賽發生的事宜的預測、示意、賠率或提示的廣播：《賭博條例》（第148章）第16E(1)條。另稱「提供內部消息者／告密者」。n.
