A wrongdoer, a person who commits a tort; a person responsible in law for damage caused to another. A person vicariously liable for the tort of another is also regarded as a tortfeasor: KR & Ors v Bryn Alyn Community (Holdings) Ltd (In Liq) & Anor [2004] 2 All ER 716 (CA).
