| 释义 | 專家報告 Written opinion of an expert witness which is prepared and tendered as evidence in court proceedings. If any party to the proceedings proposes to adduce expert evidence in the proceedings, he shall furnish the other party or parties with a statement in writing of any finding or opinion which he proposes to adduce by way of such evidence: Criminal Procedure Ordinance (Cap 221) s 65DA; The Rules of High Court (Cap 4A) O 38 r 16. In civil proceedings, the court may appoint an independent expert to inquire and report upon any question of fact or opinion not involving questions of law or construction: The Rules of High Court (Cap 4A) O 10. Appointment of an expert has been refused by the court: Nguyen Ho v Director of Immigration [1991] 1 HKLR 576.
