| 释义 | 現金運送保險 A type of insurance in which an insurer provides protection against loss of money in transit between specified locations. Examples of insured holding ‘cash in transit’ policies are finance companies, banks, insurance companies, and moneylenders who transport large sums of money and seek an indemnity if a dishonest employee embezzles money: Adamson TH & Sons v Liverpool and London and Globe Insurance Co Ltd [1953] 2 Lloyd’s Rep 355. Money is ‘in transit’ until it is accepted by the bank. Also known as ‘money in transit insurance’.
