| 释义 | 發貨人 1. The person who sends or ships goods consigned as cargo for carriage or sale to be delivered to the consignee. The consignment may be for the purpose of sale or bailment. 2. In a narrow sense, one who consigns goods to an agent with a view to the agent selling the goods. The consignor retains property in the goods until they are sold.
