释义	刑事法典 A collection of the serious criminal offences and related procedures in a single enactment of the legislature, resulting in a comprehensive statement of criminal law principles and major offences. A criminal code does not reply upon the common law, and includes statements on criminal responsibility, defences, and liability to punishment. Hong Kong has not adopted such a code, but there is a tendency to codify into statutory provisions various common law offences, like conspiracy has been incorporated as a statutory offence by virtue of the Crimes Ordinance (Cap 200) pt XIIA.
