释义	要徑 The sequence of works in building and construction which requires the greatest time ‘on the path’ to final completion of a complex construction project. The critical path, and the impact of a proprietor’s act or omission on it, is important in determining whether the proprietor has caused or contributed to the ultimate failure of the contractor to complete and whether the prevention principle applies. In a program of activities for the performance of a building contract, a delayed activity is said to be ‘not on the critical path’.
