释义	受薪合夥人 A person who is paid a fixed remuneration instead of an entitlement to participate in a distribution of partnership profits, but who is held out by the partners to the world to be a partner: Kao Lee & Yip (a firm) v Edwards [1994] 1 HKLR 232 (CA). The partnership will then be bound by his acts. His salary may be a charge on the profits: Marsh v Stacey (1963) 107 Sol Jo 512 (CA). Where a person receives both salary and a share of the profits, it is strong evidence that he is an employee rather than a partner: Ross v Parkyns (1875) LR 20 Eq 331. A salaried partner is jointly and severally liable with the equity partners and the other salaried partners the debts and liabilities of the partnership: Stekel v Ellice [1973] 1 All ER 465.
