释义	外地侵權行為 A tort committed outside the jurisdiction. The alleged act must be of such a character that it would have been actionable at the forum, if it had taken place there, and must have been justifiable by the law of the place where it was done: Boys v Chaplin [1968] 1 All ER 283, 2 QB 1 (CA). The rule for international tort is that a plaintiff may sue in the forum to enforce a liability in respect of a foreign tort if the claim arises out of circumstances of such a character that, if they had occurred locally, a cause of action would have arisen; and by the law of the place in which the wrong occurred, the circumstances of the occurrence gave rise to a civil liability of the kind the plaintiff claims to enforce: Phillips v Eyre (1870) LR 6 QB 1.
