释义 | 書面形式的文書 An instrument in which words are permanently represented in visible form, whether by printing, lithography, or partly in one way and partly in another. The writing itself may be any method of transcribing or reproducing the written word, as by ink, pencil or otherwise. Certain transactions, for example the creation or disposition of interests in land, must be evidenced by an instrument in writing containing all particulars required by statute: Conveyancing and Property Ordinance (Cap 219) ss 3-5. Any instrument in writing affecting land and any judgment should be registered in the Land Registry: Land Registration Ordinance (Cap 128) s 2(1).
