释义 | 優等技能的損害 Loss of a superior talent or ability which a plaintiff suffers as the consequence of an injury. The plaintiff’s skills and experience are relevant. Where a plaintiff has a superior skill adversely affected by the injury, the frustration and loss resulting from the injury is treated as being greater than that of the average person: Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, Vol 22, Remedies [340.202]. For example, a skilled machine operator was rendered capable only of boring unskilled work, and was compensated accordingly: Hearnshaw v English Steel Corporation (1971) 11 KIR 306 (CA).
