释义 | 欄杆 A barrier for protecting persons from the risk of falling from accessible roofs, stairways, ramps, floors, corridors, hallways and the like. Such a barrier may be required under certain regulations, for example, the outer edge of all balconies, verandas, staircases, landings or projections, or where there is a difference in adjacent levels greater than 600 mm, protective barriers shall be provided to restrict or control the movement of persons and vehicles: Building (Construction) Regulations (Cap123B) r 8. Such a barrier can also be used to separate two areas: A-G v Cheng Yick Chi & Ors [1982] HKLR 39 (CA). 保障任何人免於由可到的屋頂、樓梯、坡道、路面、走廊、大堂通道或相類地方墮下的欄障。若干規則規定建造此類欄障,例如所有露台、外廊、樓梯、樓梯平台或伸出物的外緣,或在相鄰水平之間的差距多於600毫米之處,須設置防護欄障,以限制或管制人及車輛的移動:《建築物(建造)規則》(第123B章)第8規則。這樣的欄障亦可用來分隔兩個區域:A-G v Cheng Yick Chi & Ors [1982] HKLR 39(上訴法庭)。n. |
