释义 | 銀行業者(Banker) A body of persons, whether incorporated or not, who carry on the business of banking: Bills of Exchange Ordinance (Cap 19) s 2. The characteristics of modern bankers are: to accept money from, and to collect cheques for, their customers when presented for payment and debit their customers accordingly; and keep current accounts in their books in which the credits and debits are recorded: United Dominions Trust Ltd v Kirkwood [1966] 1 All ER 968, 2 QB 431 (CA). ‘Banker’ includes a body of persons, whether incorporated or not, who carry on the business of banking: Bills of Exchange Ordinance (Cap 19).
