释义 | 背頁 1. In legal process documents, the last page or sheet that forms a cover or backing and contains the name of the parties, the names and addresses of solicitors representing them, the court hearing the matter and the action number. 2. A document given by solicitors to their instructed counsel for the latter to appear in court: Code of Conduct of the Bar of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region para 73B. A firm of solicitors being retained in criminal trials is required to deliver a back sheet or other written instruction to counsel as soon as practicable, and in any event both before the relevant hearing and not more than seven days after counsel has been instructed: Solicitors’ Practice Rules (Cap 159H) r 5D(e). 3. In relation to a will, the back sheet records the date, the solicitor or firm name and address, and that it is the ‘Last will of’ the testator named in the will.
