释义	讓與形式的寄託 The situation in which, without any change in custody or physical transfer of a chattel, a person such as a seller or a seller’s agent acknowledges by attornment that he or she holds the chattel as bailee for another person such as a buyer. Bailment by attornment may occur when the bailor directs the existing bailee to transfer the goods to a new bailee who then attorns to the bailor and substitutes the new bailee for the existing bailee without redelivery of the chattel to the bailor: Makower, McBeath and Co Pty Ltd v Dalgety & Co Ltd [1921] VLR 365.
