| 释义 | 共用牆 A common wall to two houses or other structures from which each draws support: Hassan Sadee Lai Hop Siu v Chung Lai-cheung & Ors [1981] HKDCLR 13; Tse Soon Cheung alias Cheung Chi Shuen & Tsang Fat Hung [1965] HKLR 258. At common law, a party wall may be one of the following: a wall owned by both owners as tenants in common in undivided shares; a wall divided down the middle into two strips, each owner owning the wall up to the centre strip; a wall owned entirely by one owner but subject to the right of maintenance and support of the other owner; or a wall divided longitudinally into two halves, each half being subject to a cross-easement in favour of the other party: Watson v Gray (1880) 14 Ch D 192.
