A guardian of an infant or minor appointed by will or by deed. The testamentary guardian may act jointly with the surviving parent, if any, unless the surviving parent objects to his so acting: Guardianship of Minors Ordinance (Cap 13) s 6(1), (2). A testamentary guardian may be removed for good cause by the court if it is satisfied that it is for the welfare of the minor, and may also appoint another guardian in his place: s 8.
