| 释义 | 非法冒險 A contract for carriage which is illegal or unlawful by common law or by statute. A marine insurance policy on an illegal adventure cannot be enforced: Redmond v Smith (1844) 7 Man & G 457, 135 ER 183. There is an implied warranty that the adventure insured is a lawful one, and that, so far as the assured can control the matter, the adventure shall be carried out in a lawful manner: Marine Insurance Ordinance (Cap 329) s 41.
