释义	專業行為及實務規則 Statutory rules made by the Council of the Law Society of Hong Kong and by the Council of the Hong Kong Bar Association with respect to conduct and practice standards for solicitors and barristers: Legal Practitioners Ordinance (Cap 159) ss 72AA, 73. The rules are concerned with conduct and practices in relations with clients, the courts, other lawyers and third parties and in carrying on legal practice. Failure to comply with any rule is not in itself a breach of the Legal Practitioners Ordinance but is capable of being professional misconduct and disciplinable by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal or Barristers Disciplinary Tribunal: ss 9B, 35A. The Chief Justice may make rules in relation to the conduct of barristers, to provide for the proceedings before a Barristers Disciplinary Tribunal: s 72. The High Court also has inherent jurisdiction over solicitors and barristers.
