释义	法官的紀錄 Entries made by the judge relating to proceedings taken in cases brought in court or chambers for the judge’s private use. In the event of appeal these notes may be furnished to the appellate court: The Rules of the High Court (Cap 4A) O 59 r 9. Where the official transcript of a case is lost, the judge’s notes, in conjunction with counsel’s notes, may be used to inform the appellate court. References to judge’s notes which have largely been superseded by technology for most hearings are now tape-recorded, and transcripts may be made available for the purpose of an appeal: Hong Kong Civil Court Practice (Butterworths) para 59.9.2. Judge’s note maybe admissible to prove what took place at the trial by virtue of the Evidence Ordinance (Cap 8) s 47.
