释义 | 表明是一份契據 A phrase found in legislation governing the execution of deeds, normally in the context that if a document is executed in accordance with the statutory requirements for a deed, then the common law requirements for formal dealing is treated as satisfied. For example, a document shall be presumed to have been sealed by an individual if the document is signed by him and (a) describes itself as a deed or (b) states that it has been sealed or (c) bears any mark, impression or addition intended to be or to represent a seal or the position of a seal: Conveyancing and Property Ordinance (Cap 219) s 19.
