释义	明訂的意圖 The parties’ intention can be seen from the contract itself. There is a presumption that the parties intended to say what they said: L Schuler AG v Wickman Machine Tools Sales Ltd [1973] 2 All ER 39, [1974] AC 235. Under the doctrine of presumption of advancement, the court will act upon the express intention if it is supported by admissible evidence: Lui Kam Lau & Anor (Administrators of the Estate of Ng Pui Lin, dec’d) v Leung Ming Fai [1994] 3 HKC 477 (HC).
