| 释义 | 精神傷害 Any recognisable psychiatric illness. It includes all relevant forms of mental illness, neurosis and personality change. Normal human emotions which follow an unpleasant incident but which fall short of recognisable psychiatric injury are not compensable: Reilly v Merseyside Regional Health Authority [1995] 6 Med LR 246. Compensable psychiatric injury may be caused by a person’s use or consumption of a defective product: Dooley v Cammell Laird & Co Ltd [1951] 1 Lloyds Rep 271; S v Distillers Co (Bio-Chemicals) Ltd [1969] 3 All ER 1412.
