| 释义 | 法定租賃 A tenancy where a tenant is granted immunity from dispossession by a statute, ie where a tenancy falls within the provisions relating to new tenancies of domestic premises under the Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation) Ordinance (Cap 7) pt IV. Such a tenancy will not be terminated by affluxion of time or by notice to quit given by a landlord. The tenancy is continued automatically until terminated in accordance with the statutory provisions: Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation) Ordinance (Cap 7) s 117(1).
