| 释义 | 公眾條例 A statute which is generally worded and applicable to the public at large. It may not affect each member of the populace all the time but it will apply to any person who conducts himself or herself in such a way as to come within its field of operation. Public Acts rarely refer specifically to individual persons or bodies. An Ordinance is to be taken as a public Ordinance and shall be judicially notices as such: Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance (Cap 1) s 11.
