| 释义 | 隨機存取存儲器 Abbr – RAM a semiconductor-based storage area used by the central processing unit of a computer to write, store, and retrieve data and other instructions. Data held in RAM can be accessed much more quickly than data stored on a hard disk. However, unlike data stored on a hard disk, data held in RAM is volatile, meaning it will be replaced and therefore lost if the central processing unit requests other data to be resident in RAM.
