| 释义 | 報酬 1. Return or recompense made to or received by a person for some service or merit. Post facto gift without any antecedent agreement: R v Andrews Weatherfoil Ltd [1972] 1 WLR 118. It is within the meaning of ‘advantage’: Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap201) s 2(1). A person who alters his or her evidence or plea or influences another person to alter his or her evidence or plea for reward perverts the course of justice: R v Kellett [1976] QB 372. 2. It includes refund, commission, discount or allowance but does not include payment for sales demonstration equipment and materials supplied at not more than their fair market value and not resold: Pyramid Selling Prohibition Ordinance (Cap 355) s 2. It also includes any pecuniary advantage: Organised and Serious Crimes Ordinance (Cap 455) s 2.
