It includes any register, book, record, tape-recording, any form of input or output into or from an information system, and any other document or similar material (whether produced mechanically, electronically, magnetically, optically, manually or by any other means): Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap 201) s 2(1); Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap 571) sch 1 pt 1 s 1. It includes film, disc, tape or other device in which visual images or data other than visual images are embodied so as to be capable with or without the aid of some other equipment, of being reproduced from the film, disc, tape or other device; and a film, tape or other device in which visual images are embodied: Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap 486) s 2(1). It also includes a book, voucher, receipt or data material, or information which is recorded in a non-legible form but is capable of being reproduced in a legible form; and any document, disc, tape, sound-track or other device in which sounds or other data (not being visual images) are embodied or any film (including a microfilm), tape or other device in which visual images are embodied so as to be capable (with or without the aid of other equipment) of being reproduced in a legible form: Consumer Goods Safety Ordinance (Cap 456) s 2. It also includes any map, plan or drawing: Land Registration Ordinance (Cap 128) s 1A. Corporations - Any paper or other material on which there is writing, printing, marks, figures or symbols which have a meaning to a person qualified to interpret them. It includes a disk or tape from which sound, images or messages can be reproduced. It specifically includes summonses, orders, legal processes and notices. For the purpose of offers of investment, document includes any publication (including a newspaper, magazine or journal, a poster or notice, a circular, brochure, pamphlet or handbill, or a prospectus) (a) directed at, or the contents of which are likely to be accessed or read (whether concurrently or otherwise) by, the public; and (b) whether produced mechanically, electronically, magnetically, optically, manually or by any other means: Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap 571) s 102.
