| 释义 | 債務訴訟 An action to recover a sum certain for an executed consideration. The plaintiff in an action to recover debt is not required to show that any loss or damage was caused by the breach, and the defendant bears the onus of establishing payment by way of discharge as a defence to the action. Also known as an ‘action for indebtedness’ or ‘action for debt due’.
