A person engaged in drug trafficking. A person who does or is concerned in, whether in Hong Kong or elsewhere, any act constituting a drug trafficking offence; or commits an offence punishable under a corresponding law, and deals, whether in Hong Kong or elsewhere, with any property which in whole or in part directly or indirectly represents any person’s proceeds of drug trafficking. The tracing, confiscation and recovery of the proceeds of drug trafficking, the offence of assisting drug traffickers to retain those proceeds are provided for by the Drug Trafficking (Recovery of Proceeds) Ordinance (Cap 405).
指從事販毒的人。凡在香港或其他地方從事或參與構成販毒罪行的作為的人；或觸犯根據相應的法律可予懲處的罪行的人，該人並在香港或其他地方處理全部或部分直接或間接代表任何人的販毒得益的任何財產。《販毒(追討得益)條例》（第405章）就販毒得益的索究、沒收與追討，以及協助毒販保留該等得益的罪行，訂定條文。
