释义	獨資營商者 1. A person who trades alone, without the use of a company structure or partners, and who bears alone full responsibility for the activities of the business. A sole trader can trade under his or her own name or can register a business name. A sole trader unable to meet debts as they fall due is deemed to be insolvent. In such circumstances, the sole trader may alleviate the position by negotiating with creditors and entering a scheme of arrangement. Beyond such an arrangement, the sole trader may be declared bankrupt by the court under bankruptcy law either on his own petition or on the creditors’ petition. 2.
