| 释义 | 產業權/遺產 Any interest, charge, right, title, claim, demand, lien or encumbrance, in, upon or affecting lands, either at law or in equity. Bankruptcy - The assets of a bankrupt held for administration by a trustee in bankruptcy. Real property - It is generally an interest, right, or ownership in land: for example Chen Paul & Anor v Lord Energy Ltd [1999] 1 HKC 1, 1 HKLRD 205 (CFA); Chan Yat Wah v Moonland Enterprise Ltd [2001] 1 HKLRD 45. In its narrower meaning, it denotes the fee simple of land and any of the various interests into which the title could be formerly divided at law, such as for a term of years. In its broad sense, it applies to all that a person owns, whether real or personal property: Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong (2001 Reissue) Vol 16, Land [230.0008]. Succession - The movable and immovable property of a person passing on the death of such person: Probate and Administration Ordinance (Cap 10) s 2. Estates may be absolute, conditional, contingent or determinable. An absolute estate is granted without condition or termination. A conditional estate will only vest upon the performance of some specific condition, and a contingent estate will only pass when some specific event eventuates. A determinable estate will end on the happening of a specific event.
