Special agent |
An agent who has authority to do some particular act, or to act on some particular occasion or purpose that is not within the ordinary course of the agent’s trade, profession or business. The distinction between special and general agent is relevant in relation to the nature and extent of the authority of the agent and was significant in the development of the doctrine of apparent authority. However, it is now of limited utility as this doctrine is usually explained by reference to estoppel. See also Agency; Agent; Apparent authority; Estoppel; General agent. 另見 Agency; Agent; Apparent authority; Estoppel; General agent。 |
