| 释义 | 身體受傷 In compensation legislation and insurance policies, generally refers to actual bodily harm, physiological injuries, or changes to a person as a result of the happening of an event insured against. The term is usually given a wide meaning. It has been defined to include injury to health: Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance (Cap 509) s 3; Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance (Cap 59) s 2. Bodily injury is not restricted to injury to the exterior of the body and could include the introduction of some foreign matter into the body or into a particular part of the body which caused harmful physiological changes in the structure of the body: Dhak v Insurance Co of North America (UK) Ltd [1996] 2 All ER 609 (CA).
