释义	性能規格 In a building contract, a term stipulating that the contractor is obliged to provide a structure which meets specified performance criteria, such as an ability to bear a certain load, or an air-conditioning system which is capable of circulating air at a given rate: for example Simpson Steel Structures v Spencer [1964] WAR 101. Where the specification is a performance specification, a contractor will be liable for the unsuitability of the result produced. The performance specification can be particularly for mechanical, electrical or other engineering works or services but also for building works generally: Building (Construction) Regulations (Cap 123B).
