| 释义 | 象徵性租金 A nominal rent that does not reflect or equate with the market value. It is reserved for the purpose of showing that a lease or tenancy is granted for valuable consideration. It is a true rent but is not regarded as a rent in kind so that it cannot be classified as a payment or as needing a receipt: Re Moody and Yates Contract (1885) 30 Ch D 344; Datastream International Ltd v Oakeep Ltd [1986] 1 All ER 966, 1 WLR 404.
