| 释义 | 身體傷害 Any bodily injury that interferes with the health or comfort of a person: R v Brown [1993] 2 All ER 75, 2 WLR 556, [1994] 1 AC 212 (HL). Bodily harm need not be a permanent injury but must be more than merely transient or trifling: R v Brown, supra. As to ‘actual bodily harm’, it includes recognised psychiatric illness, such as an anxiety disorder or a depressive disorder, which affects the central nervous system of the body: R v Chan Fook [1994] 2 All ER 552, Crim LR 432, 99 Cr App Rep 147 (CA); R v Ireland [1997] 4 All ER 225, [1998] AC 147 (HL). However, it does not include mere emotions like distress or panic: R v Ireland, supra.
