释义 | 姻親(關係) The relationship existing, as a consequence of marriage, between each member of a married couple and their relatives. For example, a person who is a sister by blood to the husband, is the sister-in-law, or by affinity to the wife. A marriage is invalid in Hong Kong if it would be null and void on the ground of kindred and affinity in England and Wales: Marriage Ordinance (Cap 181) s 27(1). For the purpose of some legislation, relatives by affinity are treated in the same manner as relatives by consanguinity, that is, blood relatives: for example, Fatal Accidents Ordinance (Cap 22) s 2(2).
