| 释义 | 宣誓確認效忠 A solemn promise identifying the maker as a subject of the sovereign. The Chief Executive, Principal Officials, members of the Executive Council, members of the Legislative Council, and Judicial Officers of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region have to swear an oath that includes such a promise before entering upon any of the duties of his office (in the case of the Chief Executive) or as soon as possible after his appointment or commencement of his term of office: Oaths and Declarations Ordinance (Cap 11) Pt IV.
