An equitable easement may arise from an equitable estoppel or acquiescence: Crabb v Arun District Council [1976] Ch 179. It may also arise upon an agreement for valuable consideration for the grant of an easement, or upon an agreement to the effect that some easement is exercisable: May v Belleville [1905] 2 Ch 605.
