释义 | 否決 Lat – I forbid. 1. A prohibition designed to prevent legislation or political action. 2. The right of imposing such a prohibition. In relation to conflict of laws, the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council have veto power and must concur on any matter other than a procedural matter in order to ensure unanimity in maintaining international peace and security: Charter of the United Nations 1945 art 27 para 3.
