释义	待決案件 Lat – a pending suit. An action or proceeding pending in a court or tribunal: Land Registration Ordinance (Cap 128) s 1A; Bond Star Development v Choy Yee Chun (HCMP 2446/96, unreported). Where an action pending affects an interest in the land, notice of it can be registered under the Land Registration Ordinance: ss 14-18. The doctrine of ‘lis pendens’ applies to a suit the object of which is to recover or assert title to specific property: Lam Sau Wah v Tam Chi Hung & Anor [2001] 1 HKC 679 (CA).
