释义	法庭書記 A court officer who handles administrative and procedural aspects of cases proceeding through the judicial system. This embraces but is not limited to, the filing of pleadings, interlocutory matters, the recording of judgments, custody of records, seals and the authorisation and authenticating of documents and transcripts. The function and duties of the clerks of the court are generally derived from legislation or court rules and often administered by the Registrar of the particular court. Clerks of the court are appointed along with deputy Registrars, bailiffs, clerks, interpreters and other personnel as may be deemed necessary for the administration of the court, in pursuant to the District Court Ordinance (Cap 336). 按照司法程序負責處理訴訟案件管理和程序方面的事宜的法庭職員。所負責的工作包括但不限於狀書的存檔、非正審的事宜、判案書的記錄、文案的保管、文件及謄本的蓋印、認可和認證。一般而言，法庭書記的職能和責任源自法例或法庭規則，並且很多時由特定的法院的司法常務官管理。法庭書記連同副司法常務官、執達吏、文員、傳譯員以及其他人員（視乎需要而定），均按照《區域法院條例》（第336章）聘用來管理法院的事務。
