| 释义 | 支票結算 The procedure by which a cheque is verified by the drawee bank, which decides whether the cheque should be paid or dishonoured. Usually the clearance takes place via a cheque clearing house. The clearing house function is carried out by the Hong Kong Interbank Clearing United, which is jointly owned by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Hong Kong Association of Banks.
