释义 | 必要及適當的一方 In international relations, a party who, if he were subject to the jurisdiction, could properly be joined as a defendant: Tay Choo Wah v Singapore-Johore Express (Pte) Ltd [1992] 1 HKLR 19, [1991] 2 HKC 180 (CA) ‘Necessary’ means necessary for justice to be done: Electric Furnace Co v Selas Corpn of America [1987] RPC 23. It is required that all necessary and proper parties must be before the court, in order to provide complete relief to the other parties to the suit: Norbury Natzio & Co Ltd v Griffiths [1918] 2 KB 369 (CA).
