| 释义 | 生產力、生產率 The efficiency with which the factors of production are used. Increasing productivity means the ability to produce goods at a progressively lower cost per unit of output while maintaining or improving quality. Businesses aim to achieve increased productivity based on labour, costs, resources, equipment and lay-out. Businesses may use increased productivity as an incentive to earn more income on a commission basis: GC Nanda & Sons (HK) Ltd v Air India Ltd (HCA 11957/98, unreported). Increased productivity helps to enhance competitiveness.
