释义	公務員 A person holding an office of emolument under the Government of the Hong Kong SAR, whether such office be permanent or temporary, and serving in a government bureau or department. The appointment, dismissal, suspension and discipline of public servants of the Hong Kong SAR are governed by the Public Service (Administration) Order 1997 (Executive Order No 1 of 1997) and regulations made thereunder. Separate procedures are provided under the Public Service (Administration) Order 1997 for those public servants who are appointed to and confirmed in established offices and those who are not. Also known as ‘civil servant’. See also Established office; Public officer; Public service. 任何在特區政府擔任受薪職位，並服務於一個政策局或部門的人，不論該職位屬長設或臨時性質。《1997年公務人員（管理）命令》（1997年第1號行政命令）及根據此項命令制定的規例對公務員的委任、解僱、停職及紀律制裁作出規管。《1997年公務人員（管理）命令》並對在設定職位及非設定職位上委任及確實聘任的公務員的程序作出不同的規定。亦稱為「公務員(civil servant)」。另見Established office; Public officer; Public service。
