The offence of dealing in drugs involves some kind of commercial transaction. In the case of a single transaction, the intention that the transaction was to be part of a series of transactions must be established: R v Diu Lap Nin (CACC 1439/83, unreported); R v Yan Kwok Kwong [1994] 2 HKC 245 (CA).
